Philosophy and Purpose

Welch's supports worthwhile endeavors that enhance the quality of life in those communities where our employees and grower-owners live and work.

Welch's will provide assistance to organizations in accordance with its guidelines and within the limits of its budget and other resources. Support will be in the form of cash contributions or in-kind contributions of product where appropriate. Contributions are generally restricted to organizations that have been granted 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.

Welch's will support those non-profit organizations that have a focus on health and human services and education and youth.

Examples of organizations we will consider include:

Health and Human Services

1. Programs that lead to increased self-sufficiency or otherwise assist disadvantaged people, especially those addressing women and children.
2. Programs that support the research of & identifying of cures to human diseases, especially those addressing women and children.
3. Organizations that feed the hungry or work to alleviate hunger.

Education and Youth

1. Programs that reflect the business and ownership interests of Welch's, including business, agricultural and cooperative education programs.
2. Programs designed to build knowledge and leadership skills of rural youth and students in our employee-owner areas.

Product Donations

Product donations to non-profit organizations or other services that fall within our corporate guidelines will be considered once a written or electronic form is received. Product donation requests should be received at least two weeks before the donation is needed, identifying the nature of the organization, planned usage of the product, and arrangements for pickup. Monetary Donations

Monetary donations to non-profit organizations or other services that fall within our corporate guidelines will be considered once a written form is received.
