Associate Marketing Manager, Consumer Insights

SCOPE:
This position partners with Market Research clients to identify and address business issues. The Associate Manager will proactively lead research activities needed to provide superior consumer and marketplace insights.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- He/she will help drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and providing information and insight to better manage risk associated with business decisions.
- Primary role is to leverage consumer insights through custom research, trend and syndicated data to achieve business objectives.
- As a part of the Market Research team, the Associate Manager will be responsible, monitoring and reporting consumer trends, serving as the key research contact for multiple brand teams.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree (MBA is highly preferred) and 5+ years experience in Marketing research with a consumer packaged goods company.
- Must have experience in the design, execution and analysis of custom qualitative and quantitative research studies.
- Must be familiar with the use of syndicated marketing research databases (e.g. IRI, Nielsen, Spectra).
- This position will require excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate "consumer learning" into actionable recommendations for business growth.
- Strong project management & communication skills are necessary.
