With the broad range of research alternatives available today, we at Welch's have determined that we can remain committed to scientific research regarding the vital connection between diet and health without the further funding of animal research.

The information in this section is intended for health professionals (scientists, healthcare professionals, nutritionists, and other healthcare professionals with a background in physiology).

We are committed to providing consumers with the scientific findings on Concord grape juice and Niagara grape juice so they can make informed decisions about their and their families' health and diet.

Welch's believes that the scientific research on Concord grape juice and Niagara grape juice must meet the highest standards as well. As scientific research capability is advancing rapidly, we believe it is appropriate to adopt the following formal policy on Welch's scientific research:

• Welch's is committed to communicating to consumers the scientific findings relevant to Concord grape juice and Niagara grape juice to enable them to make informed decisions

• Welch's will not fund animal research.
